More info

The Anycubic Hotend Heating Assembly for Kobra 3 Max is an original replacement component designed for the hotend system of the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max and Kobra 3 Max Combo.

The heating assembly forms the thermal section of the hotend, providing the controlled heat required to melt filament before extrusion through the nozzle. It is designed to work with the Kobra 3 Max quick-release hotend architecture and supports the printer's maximum nozzle temperature of up to 300°C.

It is suitable for replacing a damaged or malfunctioning original heating assembly when troubleshooting confirms a heater, temperature-sensing, or hotend-related fault.

Key Features

  • Original Anycubic replacement hotend heating assembly

  • Part number S010348

  • Designed for Anycubic Kobra 3 Max

  • Compatible with Kobra 3 Max Combo

  • Supports the printer's quick-release hotend system

  • Designed for hotend temperatures up to 300°C

  • Supports stable filament melting and extrusion

  • Suitable for repair and maintenance of the original hotend system

Hotend Heating Function

The heating assembly raises the hotend to the temperature required for filament extrusion.

Stable heating is important for maintaining:

  • Consistent filament melting

  • Reliable material flow

  • Accurate extrusion

  • Good layer bonding

  • Stable printing temperature

  • Repeatable print quality

The printer continuously monitors hotend temperature and adjusts heater output to maintain the temperature selected in the filament profile.

Designed for Kobra 3 Max

The S010348 heating assembly is specifically designed for the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max platform.

Compatible printers include:

  • Anycubic Kobra 3 Max

  • Anycubic Kobra 3 Max Combo

Its mechanical fit, heating arrangement, wiring, and hotend integration are designed around the Kobra 3 Max printhead.

Quick-Release Hotend Architecture

The Kobra 3 Max uses a quick-release hotend system that allows the hotend to be removed from the printhead more conveniently during maintenance.

This makes servicing useful for situations such as:

  • Hotend replacement

  • Heating assembly replacement

  • Nozzle maintenance

  • Severe clog removal

  • Filament leakage repair

  • Preventive servicing

Always follow the correct Kobra 3 Max replacement procedure rather than forcing the hotend or locking mechanism.

Up to 300°C Hotend Temperature

The Kobra 3 Max hotend supports temperatures up to:

300°C

This allows the printer to process a wide range of compatible FDM materials.

The actual printing temperature should always be selected according to the filament manufacturer's recommendation rather than operating at the maximum temperature unnecessarily.

Supports High-Speed Extrusion

The Kobra 3 Max is designed for printing speeds up to 600mm/s under suitable conditions.

Its hotend system therefore needs to heat and melt filament consistently while material moves through the extrusion path at relatively high flow rates.

A correctly functioning heating assembly is important for maintaining stable extrusion during:

  • High-speed printing

  • Large-format printing

  • Rapid infill

  • Multicolor purging

  • Long production jobs

Temperature Monitoring

The hotend heating system works together with the printer's temperature sensor and control electronics.

The printer uses temperature feedback to regulate heater output and maintain the requested nozzle temperature.

A heating-system problem may produce symptoms such as:

  • Hotend not heating

  • Temperature rising too slowly

  • Temperature fluctuating

  • Heating stopping unexpectedly

  • Thermal error messages

  • Print interruptions

These symptoms should be diagnosed before replacing parts.

Useful Replacement Part

Replacement may be appropriate if the original heating assembly develops:

  • Heater failure

  • Temperature-sensing problems

  • Damaged wiring

  • Physical heater-block damage

  • Damage following filament leakage

  • Unstable nozzle temperature

  • Intermittent heating

  • Hotend-related thermal errors

Similar symptoms can also originate from wiring, connectors, the printhead board, or other components, so the complete heating circuit should be checked first.

Package Includes

  • 1 × Anycubic Hotend Heating Assembly for Kobra 3 Max

Exact pre-installed subcomponents can vary with Anycubic production revision. Compare the supplied assembly with the original component before installation.

Installation Note

Before replacing the heating assembly:

  • Retract the filament

  • Allow the hotend to cool completely

  • Switch off the printer

  • Disconnect mains power

  • Remove the required printhead cover

  • Release the hotend according to the Kobra 3 Max procedure

  • Disconnect electrical connectors carefully

  • Avoid pulling directly on heater or sensor wires

  • Install the replacement assembly correctly

  • Confirm all connections are fully seated

  • Reassemble the printhead

  • Verify normal temperature readings before heating

  • Perform a controlled heating test before starting a print

After installation, inspect the hotend for abnormal temperature behavior or filament leakage.

Troubleshooting Note

A Kobra 3 Max heating error does not automatically mean the heating assembly has failed.

Similar symptoms can also be caused by:

  • Loose heater connector

  • Damaged thermistor wiring

  • Damaged heater wiring

  • Printhead PCB fault

  • Poor electrical connection

  • Incorrectly installed hotend

  • Physical hotend damage

Diagnose the complete heating system before replacing parts.

Usage Note

This product is specifically intended as a replacement heating assembly for the original Anycubic Kobra 3 Max platform.

Before ordering, confirm the printer model and compare the original hotend assembly with the replacement, especially because the Kobra 3 Max V2 uses a different printhead and hotend configuration.
