The AlgoLaser Smart Enclosure 2.0 With Camera is designed to create a safer, cleaner, and more organized workspace around compatible open-frame laser engraving machines. It combines a protective enclosure with a built-in camera, smart cover detection, internal lighting, fan control, and LightBurn camera positioning support.

The integrated camera allows users to view the actual engraving workspace inside LightBurn and position artwork directly over the material before starting a job. This is especially useful for engraving irregular objects, pre-cut blanks, coasters, signs, tags, scrap materials, and multiple items placed on the work area.

When used with compatible AlgoLaser machines, the Smart Enclosure can also interact with the laser engraver to pause laser emission when the cover is opened, providing an additional layer of operational protection during normal use.

Built-In Camera for Visual Positioning

The Smart Enclosure 2.0 includes an integrated camera that provides an overhead view of the engraving workspace.

After completing camera calibration in LightBurn, users can see the material directly inside the software and position artwork over the actual object before engraving or cutting.

This reduces the need for repeated manual measurements and framing tests, making setup faster and more convenient.

Camera positioning is especially useful when engraving objects that are not perfectly rectangular or that already have a finished shape.

Always check the total machine dimensions when using additional accessories such as rotary systems, risers, extension kits, or cable management components.

The built-in camera is designed to work with LightBurn's camera functions.

The camera can still be used where the computer, connection, and LightBurn software support the required camera workflow.

Compatibility Note

Smart functions such as cover detection, automatic laser pause, lighting control, and fan control depend on the connected laser engraver and supported AlgoLaser setup.

Physical fit inside the enclosure does not guarantee compatibility with every smart function.

Usage Note

Install the enclosure on a stable and level working surface and ensure suitable ventilation or smoke extraction before operating the laser. Complete the camera calibration process in LightBurn after installation.

For accurate camera positioning, avoid moving the laser engraver, enclosure, or camera after calibration. If their relative positions change, recalibration may be required.

Note

The smart hub is a necessary tool for using the smart enclosure and smart air pump at the same time.
For most DIY KIT 5W/10W users that haven't use smart air pump can choose the enclosure only.
