More info

The Anycubic NFEP Release Film for Photon P1 is an original replacement release-film assembly designed for the standard resin vat of the Anycubic Photon P1 resin 3D printer.

Installed at the bottom of the resin vat, the transparent NFEP film allows UV light to pass through while providing the release surface from which each cured resin layer separates during printing. A clean, correctly tensioned release film is essential for reliable layer separation, accurate exposure, and consistent resin printing.

This version is the integrated 10.1-inch NFEP release-film assembly for the Photon P1 and is supplied as a 2-piece replacement set.

Key Features

  • Original Anycubic replacement release film

  • Designed specifically for Anycubic Photon P1

  • NFEP release-film material

  • Integrated release-film assembly

  • Designed for the 10.1-inch Photon P1 system

  • 0.15mm film thickness

  • 95% light transmittance

  • Includes 2 replacement release films

NFEP Release Film

NFEP is designed to provide a smooth, low-adhesion surface between the resin vat and the printed layer.

After each exposure, the build platform lifts and the cured resin layer must separate cleanly from the release film.

A suitable NFEP surface helps reduce excessive release force and supports reliable layer formation throughout the print.

95% Light Transmittance

Anycubic specifies approximately 95% light transmittance for the Photon P1 NFEP film.

High optical transparency allows UV light from the printer's exposure system to pass through the vat and cure the resin accurately.

Maintaining a clean and undamaged release film helps preserve consistent exposure across the build area.

0.15mm Film Thickness

The Photon P1 integrated release film uses a thickness of approximately:

0.15mm

The film thickness is selected to balance flexibility, optical transmission, and mechanical durability during repeated peeling cycles.

Using a film with the correct thickness is important for maintaining the intended printing characteristics of the Photon P1.

Integrated Replacement Design

This version is supplied as an integrated release-film assembly rather than only a loose sheet of film.

The integrated design simplifies replacement and helps maintain the correct film positioning and tension for the compatible Photon P1 resin vat.

Always confirm that your vat uses the integrated release-film configuration before ordering.

Important Resin Vat Component

The release film is one of the most heavily cycled consumable components in an MSLA resin printer.

During every printed layer, the cured resin must separate from the film.

Over time, the film may develop:

  • Cloudiness

  • Scratches

  • Punctures

  • Resin marks

  • Surface wear

  • Reduced transparency

  • Permanent deformation

Replacing a worn film helps maintain reliable printing and reduces the risk of resin leaking onto the LCD screen.

When to Replace the Release Film

Replacement should be considered if the film shows:

  • Deep scratches

  • Visible dents

  • Clouding that cannot be cleaned

  • Punctures or small holes

  • Resin leakage

  • Excessive surface damage

  • Unusual layer-release problems

  • Loss of correct tension

Do not continue using a punctured or leaking release film, as resin can reach and damage the printer's LCD or internal components.

Designed for Photon P1

This version is specifically designed for the standard Anycubic Photon P1 using the integrated 10.1-inch release-film system.

It should not automatically be assumed compatible with other Photon printers, even if they also use a 10.1-inch LCD.

Anycubic uses different film materials, dimensions, mounting systems, and vat designs across the Photon range.

This product should not be assumed compatible with:

  • Photon P1 Max

  • Photon P1 Dual-Color / Dual-Material vat

  • Photon Mono M7 Series

  • Photon Mono M5 Series

  • Other Photon printers using different vat or film configurations

These machines may use different NFEP, ACF, FEP, or integrated film assemblies.

Package Includes

  • 2 × Anycubic Photon P1 Integrated NFEP Release Films

Replacement Note

Before replacing the release film:

  • Remove resin from the vat

  • Clean the vat carefully

  • Allow all components to dry

  • Work on a clean, flat surface

  • Avoid touching the active film area with sharp tools

  • Inspect the vat frame for cured resin or debris

  • Install the replacement according to the Anycubic Photon P1 procedure

After installation, inspect the complete film surface before adding resin.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the NFEP film gently after use.

Avoid:

  • Scraping with metal tools

  • Sharp objects

  • Excessive pressure

  • Abrasive cleaning materials

Cured resin stuck to the film should be removed carefully to avoid scratching or puncturing the surface.

Usage Note

This is the 10.1-inch integrated NFEP release-film version for the standard Anycubic Photon P1.

Although release films are sometimes generically called FEP films, this specific Photon P1 version uses NFEP material according to Anycubic's current specification.

Always confirm the printer and resin-vat configuration before installation, particularly because the Photon P1 family uses different release-film assemblies for different vat configurations.
