Protects the 14K LCD

Both the Photon Mono M7 and M7 Pro use a 10.1-inch 14K monochrome LCD for resin exposure.

The LCD is a critical and comparatively expensive component of the printer. The screen protector adds a replaceable protective layer above the display to reduce the chance of physical damage reaching the LCD itself.

This is particularly useful during:

Additional Protection Against Resin Leaks

If the resin vat release film becomes punctured or damaged, liquid resin may leak underneath the vat.

Installation Note

Before installing a replacement protector:

• Switch off the printer

• Remove the resin vat

• Make sure the LCD area is completely free from liquid resin

• Remove the old protector carefully

• Clean the surface without scratching the LCD

• Remove all dust and particles

• Align the replacement protector correctly

• Install it flat without trapped debris

• Inspect the complete surface before reinstalling the vat

Resin Spill Note

If resin leaks onto the protector, clean the area promptly.

Do not aggressively scrape cured resin with sharp metal tools, as this can damage the protector and potentially transfer force to the LCD underneath.

If the protector is heavily contaminated, punctured, or deeply scratched, replacing it is safer than continuing to use the damaged film.
