Protects the 13.6-Inch LCD

The Photon Mono M7 Max uses a large 13.6-inch monochrome LCD as part of its resin exposure system.

Because the screen is positioned directly underneath the resin vat, damage or resin contamination in this area can affect printing and may require replacement of the LCD.

The screen protector acts as a sacrificial layer above the LCD, helping reduce the chance of damage reaching the screen itself.

For this reason, screen protectors intended for the 10.1-inch M7/M7 Pro should not be used on the M7 Max.

The correct 13.6-inch M7 Max version should always be selected.

Installation Note

Before replacing the protector:

• Align the new protector carefully

Resin Spill Note

If resin leaks onto the screen protector, clean it promptly.

Avoid aggressively scraping cured resin with sharp metal tools, as excessive force may damage the protector or transfer pressure to the LCD underneath.

If the film is heavily contaminated, punctured, or deeply scratched, replacement is safer than continuing to use it.

These components perform different functions.
