More info

The Anycubic Screen Protector is an original replacement protective film designed for the LCD exposure screen of the Anycubic Photon Mono 4 and Photon Mono 4 Ultra resin 3D printers.

Installed over the printer's monochrome LCD, the protector creates a replaceable barrier between the exposure screen and the resin vat. It helps protect the more expensive LCD from scratches, accidental resin contamination, cured resin particles, and damage that may occur during normal resin printing and maintenance.

This package contains five replacement screen protectors, making it useful for routine maintenance as well as keeping spare protective films available for future replacement.

Key Features

  • Original Anycubic replacement screen protector

  • Compatible with Photon Mono 4 and Photon Mono 4 Ultra

  • Designed for the 7.1-inch LCD system

  • Thin 0.15mm protective film

  • Helps protect the LCD from scratches and resin contamination

  • Replaceable protective layer for easier maintenance

  • Five screen protectors per pack

  • Useful spare consumable for regular resin printer operation

Protects the LCD Exposure Screen

The monochrome LCD is one of the most important components in an MSLA resin 3D printer.

During printing, UV light passes through the LCD to cure each resin layer. Because the screen sits directly underneath the resin vat, contamination or physical damage around this area can potentially damage the LCD.

The screen protector creates an additional sacrificial layer above the LCD to help protect it from everyday risks.

Protection Against Resin Spills

A damaged or punctured release film can allow liquid resin to leak from the vat.

Without a protective layer, leaked resin may reach the LCD directly and can become difficult to remove, particularly if it cures on the screen.

The replaceable protector provides an additional barrier between spilled resin and the LCD surface.

It does not eliminate the need to inspect the resin vat and release film regularly.

Helps Prevent Scratches

Scratches can occur during:

  • Resin vat removal

  • Printer cleaning

  • Removing cured resin debris

  • Maintenance work

  • Accidental contact with tools

  • Handling around the exposure area

Using a screen protector helps reduce the chance of these activities damaging the LCD itself.

0.15mm Thin Design

The Photon Mono 4 / Mono 4 Ultra protector has a thickness of approximately:

0.15mm

The thin protective layer is designed for use above the exposure screen without unnecessarily increasing the distance between the LCD and resin vat.

Always use a protector intended for the correct printer model rather than substituting generic films of unknown thickness.

Designed for the 7.1-Inch Mono 4 Platform

This screen protector is specifically designed for the 7.1-inch LCD platform used by:

  • Anycubic Photon Mono 4

  • Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra

Both printers use a 7-inch-class 10K monochrome LCD, and Anycubic lists this replacement protector for both models.

Screen protectors from other Photon printers may use different dimensions or thicknesses and should not automatically be considered interchangeable.

Five-Piece Replacement Pack

The package contains five individual screen protectors.

Keeping spare protectors available is useful because the protective film should be replaced if it becomes:

  • Deeply scratched

  • Damaged

  • Cloudy

  • Contaminated with cured resin

  • Punctured

  • Wrinkled

  • Difficult to clean

Replacing the inexpensive protective layer can help avoid unnecessary damage to the printer's LCD.

Important for Resin Printer Maintenance

The screen protector should be inspected whenever the resin vat is removed.

Before reinstalling the vat, check for:

  • Resin leakage

  • Cured resin fragments

  • Scratches

  • Dust

  • Foreign particles

  • Damage to the protector

  • Damage to the vat release film

Even a small piece of cured resin trapped between the vat and LCD area can create concentrated pressure when the build platform moves downward.

Applications

  • Protecting the resin printer LCD

  • Replacement of scratched protective film

  • Replacement after resin leakage

  • Preventing direct resin contamination

  • Resin printer maintenance

  • LCD protection during vat servicing

  • Preventive spare-part inventory

  • Print farm maintenance

Compatibility

Compatible with:

  • Anycubic Photon Mono 4

  • Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra

Do not assume compatibility with other Anycubic Photon models simply because the LCD size appears similar.

Different printers may use different:

  • Protector dimensions

  • Film thickness

  • Screen geometry

  • Installation method

  • LCD arrangement

Package Includes

  • 5 × Anycubic LCD Screen Protectors for Photon Mono 4 / Photon Mono 4 Ultra

Replacement Note

Before installing a new screen protector:

  • Switch off the printer

  • Remove the resin vat

  • Make sure no resin remains on the LCD area

  • Remove the damaged protector carefully

  • Clean the surface without scratching the LCD

  • Remove dust and particles completely

  • Install the new protector flat and correctly aligned

  • Avoid trapping bubbles, dust, or cured resin beneath the film

  • Inspect the surface before reinstalling the resin vat

Follow the Anycubic replacement procedure for the correct printer model when installing the protector.

Important Resin Spill Note

If resin leaks onto the protector, remove and clean it promptly.

Do not aggressively scrape cured resin with sharp metal tools, as excessive force may damage the protector or the LCD beneath it.

If the protective film is badly contaminated or damaged, replacing it is safer than continuing to use a compromised protector.

Usage Note

The screen protector is a replaceable protective component and does not replace the resin vat release film.

The screen protector protects the LCD, while the FEP / ACF release film forms the transparent bottom of the resin vat. Both components should be inspected regularly and replaced when damaged.
