Bambu Lab Filament Buffer for H2D and H2C

The Bambu Lab Filament Buffer for H2D and H2C is an original filament-management component designed to regulate filament movement between the AMS or external spool path and the printer.

Mounted at the rear of the machine, the buffer absorbs changes in filament tension and slack during loading, unloading, and automatic material switching. This helps maintain a stable filament supply to the hotend and supports reliable operation during multicolor and multi-material printing.

The H2D/H2C version uses the dedicated SA009-series design and should be used when replacing the original buffer on compatible H2-series printers.

Filament Tension Regulation

During automatic filament feeding, the AMS repeatedly pushes and retracts filament through the PTFE path.
